Who Do You Work With in Therapy?
Hi, I’m Alex — the founder of Ash Wellness and a Registered Psychotherapist based in Toronto. I offer in-person therapy in Toronto near Yonge & St. Clair, along with online sessions for clients across Ontario. I work with children ages 8+, teens, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, burnout, relationship-related anxieties, ADHD, autism, and more.
Feeling Disconnected From Yourself?
People often come to me saying, “I don’t feel like myself right now,” or “I don’t really know who I am.” We take time to explore that, talk about what matters to you, and look at small steps that can help you move closer to the person you want to be. This is possible even when emotions like anxiety, sadness, guilt, or anger are present.
What Is Your Approach to Therapy?
My work is rooted in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness-based approaches. Together, we’ll explore patterns that may be keeping you stuck, build tools to manage distress, and develop greater self-compassion and clarity around what truly matters to you. My approach is warm, collaborative, and deeply respectful of your lived experience. I believe therapy works best when it feels safe and tailored to who you are.
What Is Therapy With You Like?
Therapy with me is not about fixing problems or rushing toward solutions. It focuses more on understanding your experiences and supporting you in moving forward in a way that feels right for you.
